Postmodernism is a combination of a lot of different things. In postmodernism, there tends to be a lot of bizarre circumstances tied with the different forms of culture. It differs from modernism, because in postmodernism focuses more on examining real life and society as a whole. Some of the things that occur in post modernism stories happen to be bizarre and seem similar to a fairy tale. According to the book "Postmodernism for beginners" by Jim Powell, the postmodernism era is a result of the failure of the Enlightenment, This means that postmodernism is the enlightenment of modern day. Examples of postmodernism is science fiction, modern music, and entertainment, with movies like "Blade Runner", Madonna's music, and the upcoming science fiction video game, Xenoblade Chronicles X. All of these things are examples of events in the postmodernism era.
