After reading postmodernism for beginners, i got a little sense that the post modern era was based on scientific advancement and expressing oneself through painting, or other forms of art and science. the story brings out a lot of different examples of different people, showing their work, explaining what they believed life is after the war, because thats what it really was, expressing yourself in different ways, after witnessing or hearing or reading of what happened. It does get confusing at times, i did get lost while reading but the main concept that i took out of it is that the post modern era was based on science advancement and works of art by different people
