The Bluest Eye

After reading few pages of The Bluest Eye, its different from most novels I have read. The book is separated into four units and each are name after a season. It led me to think the season represent every event thats taking place in  the story. It begins with Autumn and end with summer although I didn't get through the book I browed through it to get a feel of what the novel going to be about. The novel open with two short story with no season  however , the second I fell is also Autumn because it stated that“ there were no marigolds in the fall of 1941.” The first unit gave us  the typical Dick and Jane stories. There was a big house, Father ,Mother,, Jane ,Dick, a dog, a cat and, a friend for Jane to play with. Like no other stories he same story were introduce three times in sequence. The first time the text was written with punctuation , spacing and capitalization.The second time theres was punctuation or capitalization with some spacing but it wasn't normal spacing like the first time. The third time there were no capitalization or  punctuation, not even spaces between the words.The second short passage was narrated by a sister she shared her and her sister story when they were young girls. What puzzled me was when she said her sister was have her fathers baby that was an OMG moment for me , but also not many stories send light on real life situations like this. Being that she were having her fathers baby they thought thats why the marigolds did not want to bloom.  

In the beginning of the season Autumn , was about a girl and her life and events that happen in the season of Autumu. It seems like this family were struggling through hard times.Nevertheless one of the characters Claudis got sick and her mother was hard on her for being sick .She would complain about what she need to wear and having to cleaning up after her when she vomit……
